Case Study– 67 Windows, Orem, UT

DSCF4710At Advanced Window Products, no job is too big or too small for our expert service technicians. Every job is handled with the same care and craftsmanship–whether it’s replacing 1 window or 67. In one recent job, a customer found us through a Money Mailer ad and decided to give us a call about a big job. They needed 67 windows replaced. As always, we sent out an estimator for a free estimate and consultation. During the assessment, many problems were apparent to our technician. The windows were difficult to pry open, the mechanisms and frames were falling apart, and there were seal failures in the glass–making the windows very energy inefficient.

DSCF4719The customer wanted windows that would be energy efficient, but also easy to clean. Our technician recommended the Liberty Series vinyl windows with Loe-366 glass as one of the best options for their needs. Our technician John removed and replaced all 67 windows with the new Liberty Series. This job set itself apart since it required doing a flush fin installation over stucco. This was chosen as an alternative to cutting back the stucco and replacing it entirely.

While this was a big job, it was handled effectively by our highly trained technician. This customer had hired Advanced Window Products before. They trusted the locally made and installed windows and knew that the expert technicians at Advanced Window Products could effectively manage a job of this size. When you have a strong reputation for quality and a commitment to excellent service, you maintain high expectations. In this case, everyone’s expectations were met in another job well done.

Case Study– A Very Happy Customer, Sandy, UT

DSCF4754Here at Advanced Window Products, we love new customers. We especially love it when they have a great experience working with our company to make improvements to their home. One such customer recently found us through an Internet search and decided to give us a try. They had just moved into their home and wanted to replace some old, outdated, and inefficient aluminum windows. Aluminum windows accumulate a lot of condensation and are poor insulators against heat and cold, so it was time to upgrade.

We sent out an estimator for a free consultation and assessment and found that the problem was exactly as the customer had described it. The windows were clearly outdated and our estimator felt that a big increase in energy retention was the right thing to do. Our technician Ben set out to remove and replace the existing aluminum windows with our Liberty Series energy efficient vinyl windows with Loe 366 glass. In the process of replacing the windows, our technician advised creating a water barrier by cutting back the pop-outs and redoing them on the outside stucco. Having to cut the stucco back is common for homes with existing stucco when replacing windows.

DSCF4770Overall, the customer was very happy with the workmanship and quality design of the  windows at Advanced Window Products, saying, “I really like the quality of your product. And I love that they are locally made.” With a couple more windows and a door left to replace, this customer plans to use Advanced Window Products for the next replacement  job. While we love new customers, it’s always a great feeling when you’ve earned their trust to make them return customers. That embodies the commitment to service excellence we strive for everyday!
