Make-A-Wish Foundation Fundraising Gala

Advanced Window Products is a proud sponsor of Utah’s Make a Wish Foundation. We were delighted to attend this year’s fundraising gala in downtown Salt Lake City. In 2013 they granted 115 wishes. With additional contributions from community supporters they are working on granting 132 wishes this year! With an average wish cost of $7,000 – $8,000, it literally takes a village to help the dreams of our terminally ill Utah kids come true!

Craig Marsh, owner of Advanced Window Products shares, “It means a lot to us that we are helping kids here in Utah, giving kids a bit of happiness during a tough time. A lot of times the kids get better, but sometimes they don’t. There was one little guy at the gala who was 3, and the oldest was 16, and he is in remission. There is a broad spectrum of kids.”

Some kids wish small, “I want to go to Lagoon!” or “I want to play batman and ride in the cop car.” But many wishes are magical. “I want to go to Disney World!” The kids tell what they want, and Make A Wish pulls it off.

They were efficient with their time at our home and they will dows are great. We have noisy neighbors and with the new windows we dont hear their late night music which is such an added bonus.
