Arizona Window & Door Energy Efficiency Rebates
Advanced Window Products is proud to offer high-performance windows and doors that not only enhance your home’s comfort but also qualify for local energy efficiency rebate programs in Arizona. By upgrading to our energy-efficient (ENERGY STAR® rated) products, you can take advantage of cash rebates and incentive programs that reduce the cost of your investment. Below is an overview of key residential rebate programs in Arizona (excluding federal incentives) for energy-efficient windows and doors, including how much you can get back, who qualifies, how to apply, and where to get started.
Salt River Project (SRP) – Window Replacement Rebate
This rebate helps SRP electric customers save money when they replace old windows with new ENERGY STAR® certified, high-efficiency models. It’s one of the most generous window incentives in Arizona and can add up to hundreds or even thousands in savings on a whole-home project.
- Rebate amount: $3.00 per sq. ft. of qualifying replacement window area (ENERGY STAR®; typically U-factor ≤ 0.32 and SHGC ≤ 0.23). Patio doors with qualifying glass generally count as window area.
- Eligibility: Must be an SRP residential electric customer in an existing home (not new construction). Installation by an Arizona-licensed window contractor is required.
- Application process: Install qualifying windows, then apply within 6 months of installation. You’ll need your SRP account info, paid invoice, NFRC window labels, and a signed contractor form.

Salt River Project (SRP) – Shade Screen & Window Film Rebate
If full window replacement isn’t in the budget yet, SRP offers a rebate for adding solar shade screens or qualifying window films to sun-exposed windows. These measures can significantly reduce heat gain and cooling costs.
- Rebate amount: $1.00 per sq. ft. for professionally installed shade screens (≥80% solar blockage) or qualifying solar-control window film on sun-struck windows (west/south/east).
- Eligibility: SRP residential customers in existing, air-conditioned homes (single-family, townhome/condo, or mobile). Renters may apply with owner approval.
- Application process: Install eligible screens/film (DIY or contractor; contractor signature needed if pro install), then submit the application with product specs and paid invoice within 6 months.

Homes heated with natural gas can get cash back from Southwest Gas for upgrading to ENERGY STAR® windows. This reduces winter heat loss and helps your furnace run less, while improving comfort year-round.
- Rebate amount: $1.00 per sq. ft. of qualifying ENERGY STAR® window area, up to 75% of project cost.
- Eligibility: Arizona Southwest Gas residential customers in existing homes that use natural gas for space heating. ENERGY STAR® certification (NFRC documentation) is required.
- Application process: Install qualifying windows, then apply online or by mail with your SWG account number, paid invoice, and NFRC labels. Rebates are issued as a check or bill credit.
